The everyday list. Replacing two-prong outlets with grounded three-prong. GFCIs that will not reset. Switches and dimmers. Arc-fault breakers. Dedicated circuits for a washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave or refrigerator. Smoke detectors. Phone and internet cabling.
Lighting is most of it. Recessed cans, kitchen lighting, old fixtures brought up to LED, ceiling fans, attic fans and whole-house fans, landscape lighting, and security lighting on metal halide or high pressure sodium.
Ceiling fan where there is no fixture at all: we rewire from an existing outlet. Running the conduit on the outside of the wall keeps the cost down, running it inside the drywall costs more, and you get to pick which one you would rather live with.
Pool and spa work as well. Pumps, pool heaters, spa heaters, pool lights, spotlights, junction boxes, and pool panels including Jandy and Hayward. If the area is wet we work off switchboard matting.
Turning a house around for a rental is a common one. Changing out every outlet plug and switch is usually a one-day job.

Can you put a ceiling fan in a room with no light fixture?
Yes. We rewire from an existing outlet. To keep the cost down we can run conduit on the outside of the wall; rewiring inside the drywall is possible and costs more.
Why does my bathroom GFI keep tripping?
It needs troubleshooting rather than guessing. Replacing the GFI does not always fix it, because the fault is often somewhere else on the circuit. Call and we will find where it actually is.

Yes. Pool pumps, pool and spa heaters, pool lights, spotlights, junction boxes and pool panels including Jandy and Hayward. Where the area is wet we use switchboard matting for safety.
